IHF – High-Frequency Welding Inverters

High-frequency welding inverters (IHF) is a super compact equipment for precision welding and micro-welding. An IHF series has high feedback speed, which assures high efficiency for the most demanding welding processes.

About IHF

A high-frequency welding inverter uses the conventional power mains a the major power supply, transforms it to direct current, and again to alternating current, but with 5kHz-10kHz pulses.

These pulses are switched under high voltage to the welding transformer, and the weld signal is converted again to constant current, but now in the weld head.

The spot weld using high-frequency inverter offers significant benefits in terms of energy efficiency, weld quality, precise control and shorter cycle time.

These benefits make this technology ideal for a wide range of spot weld applications, especially in micro-welds.
