Currently Isotron works with two big robot’s manufacturers: Kuka, for general manipulations and Epson (SCARA line) for small manipulations.

Seen the growing the number of projects that Isotron been involved with the usage of robots, in 2017 it was invited to participate from Kuka’s SYSTEM PARTNER program, which the objective is strengthen partnership between companies even more also providing the customers (final user) the best solutions and service, based on the integrator and manufacturer experiences.

The projects

The projects involve solutions integrated with SPOT / PROJECTION welding equipment or different kind of automations. Each project’s stage is widely discussed with the customer searching for the best ideas and consequently best results. Isotron have a qualified technical team able to identify client’s needs and give correct support in all project’s stage, since the checkout of necessities to implementation during and after the production cycle.

Automatic welding - Motorcycle fuel tank

Automatic spot welding cell;
Flexibility to weld different products;
Automation program’s storage called by HMI (product’s name);
Inspection of correct assembly on each device by vision sensor;
Manual feeder of welding devices;
03 welding heads with inferior and superior movement independent of the electrodes;
ISOTRON mid frequency welding inverter;
Expert welding transformer, up to 180kVA power;
Device manipulation with KUKA robot with 6 axis;

Capacitor's manipulation and welding

Automatic spot welding cell;
Flexibility to weld different products;
Automatic aligning and cutting capacitors’ terminals;
Automatic brushing of electrodes after welding (cleaning);
Automation program’s storage called by HMI (product’s name);
ISOTRON mid frequency welding inverter;
Expert welding transformer, up to 180kVA power;
Component’s manipulation with two EPSON’s robots (Scara);
Automatic storage of capacitors on blisters and automatic tray’s change;
Supervisory software for data logging, reports’ registers and statistical production information and general events.

Component's manipulation (automotive connector)

Automatic component assembling station (fuel pump connector);
EPSON robots, Scara line;
Plastic base position, contact terminals and electronic components (capacitor, diode and resistor);
Correct assembly and inspection by camera;
Terminal and base feeding vibrating pan and linear rail;
Feeding electronic components by exclusive devices;
Cell control by PLC / HMI;

Solidarization of energy meters

Automatic cell for to application of chemical product responsible for energy meters closing (plastic carcass);
Flexibility to solidarization different products, with automatic recognizing of device;
NORDSON applier;
KUKA robot to manipulate the needle applicator of chemical product along the perimeter of energy meters;
Automation control by PLC;

Automatic cell to manipulate energy meters, take them off from the assembling line and inserting in electric test stations;
